Judy Sutton
Judy Sutton is a respected educator, leader, and community servant whose career has been defined by her dedication to higher education and service to others in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
Judy served as the President of Mountain State College, where she played a key role in guiding the institution’s mission of providing accessible higher education and career opportunities for students across the region. Throughout her leadership, she was known for her commitment to student success, academic excellence, and preparing individuals to make meaningful contributions to their communities. Although the college officially closed in March of 2024, Judy’s influence on the countless students and professionals who passed through its programs continues to have a lasting impact throughout the region.
Even after her time in higher education leadership, Judy has remained deeply involved in community service. She currently volunteers with The Arc of the Mid-Ohio Valley, where she serves as Secretary and supports the organization’s mission of advocating for and empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through her volunteer work, Judy continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusion, opportunity, and improving the lives of others.
