Home Sweet Home Program Application
Home Sweet Home is a community initiative powered by our nonprofit in partnership with The Home Depot Foundation, is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of veterans, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. Together, we work to create safe, comfortable, and beautiful living spaces through home repairs, landscaping, and improvement projects.
Through this collaboration, The Home Depot Foundation and GiveMore Connections jointly identify households in need, provide essential supplies, and mobilize skilled volunteers and labor to complete projects that restore dignity, safety, and pride in the place each person calls home. From building wheelchair ramps and repairing roofs to refreshing landscapes and improving accessibility, GiveMore Connections and Home Depot ensure that those who have given so much to our communities receive the support and care they deserve.
By submitting this application, the applicant acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:
No Guarantee of Selection – Submission of this application does not guarantee that the applicant’s home will be chosen for remodeling or repair. All selections are made at the sole discretion of GiveMore Connections & home Depot.
Voluntary Participation – The applicant understands that, if selected, participation is voluntary and that remodeling or repair work will be performed as part of a charitable effort.
Release of Liability – The applicant agrees that GiveMore Connections & Home Depot, its officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, and affiliates shall not be held liable or responsible for any damages, losses, or injuries that may occur before, during, or after the remodeling or repair project.
Assumption of Risk – The applicant understands that construction and remodeling activities inherently involve certain risks and voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation.
